The HalfDome is a softbox that provides fill, hair, or main light, and can be used in traditional and digital photography as well as video and film The HalfDome features a long, narrow shape along with a wider rear profile that allows fitting with Photoflex's OctoConnector line of softbox adapters, or Connector FV adapters. The interior comes in either soft white or silver. Soft white is suitable for a wide variety of traditional and digital photography uses. Silver is designed specifically for film and video applications. HalfDome provides a focused highlight that adds volume and drama to any subject.The unique shape permits use as a hair light for multiple subjects, and a fill light with no over-spill onto the background. As a foreground light, the low profile makes it easy to shoot over. The internal baffle eliminates hotspots to create even, natural lighting. The baffle and front diffusion face can be removed easily, allowing a change from soft diffusion to sharp contrast without adjusting the setup.
